Visit ancient house
Once the residence of aristocratic Chinese families living on Penang Island centuries ago, many ancient houses have now been restored and are open to visitors as true tourist destinations.
Visitors will have the opportunity to witness with their own eyes the traditional lifestyle exuding from the items in the dining room, living room, bedroom… and hear many interesting stories surrounding the background of the villa owners.
The interior of the house is preserved almost intact.
Famous ancient houses in Penang are Blue Mansion and Peranakan Mansion, with an entrance fee of approximately 15 RM (about 86,000 VND), accompanied by a tour guide fluent in English or Chinese.
Kek Lok Si Temple
As the largest temple in Penang, Keh Lok Si Temple is also the largest Buddhist building in Southeast Asia, playing an important role in the religious life of the Chinese community in Malaysia.
The temple is located on the top of the mountain, facing the sea, and includes many majestic items such as 10,000 exquisitely carved statues, a statue of Quan Am over 30 meters high and a towering 7-storey tower.
Visitors can take a taxi or the Rapid Penang bus to get to the foot of the temple, then buy a wooden tram ticket to the main altar above.

About 3 km from Keh Lok Si Temple is Penang Hill – the most popular tourist destination on this famous island.
To get here, you will have to line up to buy train tickets.

Morning and afternoon explore George Town
Located in the northeast of Penang Island, this ancient city with many layers of culture and beliefs is considered the heart of the island, with many works of art, religion and history.
Fort Cornwallis and clock tower
Fort Cornwallis is the largest and one of the oldest in Malaysia, with a strong colonial legacy.
Visitors can easily get here by bus.
Burmese Dhammikarama Buddha Temple
Built in the early 19th century by the Myanmar community, this is the oldest Buddhist temple in Penang.
Kapitan Keling Mosque
This project was started at the same time as the Dhammikarama Burmese temple.

For young tourists, especially those who love the art of photography, this is probably the most awaited destination.
