Responding to VnExpress, Mr. Nguyen Dang Chuong – Director of the Department of Performing Arts – said he is asking the local management agency to check.
There are currently no documents regulating performance costumes in bars and dance halls.
However, according to Mr. Chuong, the Departments of Culture, Sports and Tourism will be responsible for monitoring and post-inspection for handling.
Immediately after receiving the request from the Department and feedback from the press, leaders of the Hanoi Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held a meeting and called the owner of Next Top restaurant to explain at 7:00 p.m. on August 23.
