I am a fan of U19 players at HAGL JMG football academy.
Since Mr. Duc opened the academy, I have had high hopes for the future of Vietnamese football because I think investing from the roots is always better than skimming the ends.
From last year until now, watching the students compete I feel very happy.
Through watching the students compete, I see that there are still some issues that need improvement.
First, the defense and goalkeeper.
Through recent matches, it can be seen that the defense has not played reliably and the goalkeeper has not caught well, is not sharp and has good judgment.
If in these situations the defender gets close from the start, it can prevent your team from scoring.
So we have to learn from this experience, when the opponent has the ball, we should press close. There are a few of our defenders but they don’t press close, so we can trick the defenders and shoot from long range to let them score.
The goalkeeper is not sure how to catch the ball, so during training sessions, the coach should let the goalkeeper practice catching the ball, but if it keeps like this, then as they say, `the effort makes the goalkeeper destroy`.
I believe that you can reach out to the world, not just in Southeast Asia.
Second is physical fitness.
Like the recent Olympic U23 Vietnam players, they ran very well, and at the end of the match they were still running fast.
We’ve only played 90 minutes but at the end of the match we’re already exhausted, so we don’t know what we’ll do if we have to play 30 minutes of extra time.
In addition, children should practice other sports such as bodybuilding to gain weight and gain muscle.
Third, finality and coordination.
However, their finishing is not effective, so their scoring efficiency is not high.
At such times, Cong Phuong should pass to his teammates to score.
Therefore, Cong Phuong and the strikers should pay attention to this.
Fourth is how to play football.
They are also taught to respect their opponents, play attacking football beautifully and cleanly, and there is no violence in football.
For example, the final match against Japan recently.
The smart thing is to commit a foul that doesn’t result in a penalty but also prevents the attack of U19 Vietnam.
I have only recognized the above 4 limitations, the rest I see that the students are very talented, both talented and virtuous, and with a proper education, nothing can stop them from succeeding.
In addition, I hope you practice as hard as you always do and pay less attention to how the press praises you.
I wish them success in the upcoming Asian finals.

U23 responded to the fans’ coldness
A few days ago, U23 sadly took the flight to Korea in the coldness of the fans and then today, they exploded with a historic victory over Iran.
