Chinese beauty Zhang Zilin (Zhang Zi Lin) is one of the most prominent faces at the Miss World 2007 contest. At the age of 23, the 1.82 m tall secretary – model has achieved success.
Truong Tu Lam was born in Hebei city (China) and moved to live in Beijing, the host city of the 2008 Olympics. She studied at the University of Science and Technology and has a degree in business administration.
The ribbon fell onto Truong Tu Lam’s skirt.
Miss World 2006 Tatana Kucharova gave the crown to Truong Tu Lam.

Miss Angola, Micaela Reis, 18 years old, won 1st runner-up. The 2nd runner-up was Mexican beauty, Carolina Morgan Gordillo, 19 years old.
The jury awarded the Beauty with a Purpose award to two contestants: Miss Hong Kong Kayi Cheung and Miss Ecuador, Valeska Saab Gomez.
The 10 contestants who qualified for the semi-finals without going through additional competitions are representatives of Venezuela, Sweden, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Grenada, Austria, Angola, Malaysia, Trinidad & Tobago and Jamaica.
Duncan James, former member of boyband Blue, was invited to join the 57th Miss World jury. He also performed a song in the final night.
Dang Minh Thu wears a pink ao dai.
Vietnam’s representative, Dang Minh Thu, appeared on stage at the final night wearing a pink ao dai by designer Duc Hung.
The Miss World 2007 contest ended, closing a month with many activities of 106 contestants from five continents.
